Several different Husker players and coaches reacted Monday night via social media about former offensive line coach Milt Tenopir's passing.

Tenopir helped coach 13 offensive lines that won NCAA rushing titles, three national championships, six Outland Trophy winners and two Lombardi Award winners from 1974 to 2002. NU also had 21 different All-Americans, 49 all-conference offensive linemen, along with 27 different o-linemen sign NFL contracts under Tenopir’s guidance.

From 1978 to 2002 Nebraska’s offense ranked in the top four nationally in rushing yards 24 out of 25 years. Tom Osborne didn’t install the option offense until the fall of 1979.
