Riley adds Andy Vaughn to Nebraska support staff

Nebraska head coach Mike Riley recently indicated that he plans to have his entire coaching staff at Nebraska in place over the next seven to 10 days, but it appears his support staff is nearly complete.
HuskerOnline.com has been able to confirm Riley's most recent addition to his support staff is Andy Vaughn who will be Director of Football & Recruiting Operations.

Vaughn comes to Nebraska after spending three seasons at Nevada where he most recently operated under the same title and spearheaded all aspects of the recruiting process for the Wolf Pack, including logistics and communications. He also directed Nevada's football recruiting site and coordinated social media efforts for their football program.
Prior to Nevada, Vaughn spent four years at Middle Tennessee State where he was the coordinator of player personal. At MTSU, Vaughn's duties included all NCAA compliance-related activities for the Blue Raider football program, assisting the recruiting coordinator in all phases of the day-to-day planning and execution, and overseeing all football camp activities. He also oversaw the football program's high school relations, recruiting logistics and communications, team practice facilities and assisted with the day-to-day operations.
Vaughn also worked at Clemson from 2003-05, where he served as an assistant for football operations, assisting in administrative operations, travel logistics, recruiting, and community relations. Vaughn also developed a high school relations program for the Tigers while serving as the team liaison for the 2005 Champs Sports Bowl.
Vaughn was also a member of the Clemson staff in 2003 as a recruiting assistant. During both tenures at Clemson, Vaughn helped the Tigers land nationally ranked top-25 recruiting classes.
Vaughn earned a degree in sports management and business administration from North Greenville University in 2003. He also has a master's degree in physical education and sports administration from Florida State University (2005).
In addition to Vaughn, Riley has named Dan Van De Riet as the Associate Athletic Director for Football Operations, Ryan Gunderson as Director of Player Personnel, Hilary O'Bryan as Assistant Director of Football Operations, and will retain Kenny Wilhite who worked as a Regional Recruiting Assistant for Nebraska this past year.
The new additions to Nebraska's support staff replace Jeff Jamrog, Austen Everson, Jake Wesch, and Aaryn Kearney who all worked under similar titles for Bo Pelini.
