NU tickets at an all-time high demand
If you are looking to buy tickets to a Nebraska game this year be prepared to pay more than ever before.
According SeatGeek.com, which tabulates the data from several major ticket brokers, the average cost to attend a Husker home game in 2011 is $229 and the average cost to attend an NU road game is $253.

If you compare those numbers to 2010, the average cost to attend a Nebraska home game was $193 and $164 on the road.
As for the highest demanded tickets, it should come as no surprise that NU's Oct. 1 game at Wisconsin is the most expensive road ticket, while the Huskers match-up with Ohio State on Oct. 8 in Lincoln is the most expensive overall ticket for the 2011 season.
According to SeatGeek.com the average priced Wisconsin ticket is $322, while the OSU game average is $393 per ticket.
If you compare that to 2010, the Texas game in Lincoln was the most expensive ticket on average at $355.
"The main trend here is that all the numbers are significantly higher for 2011," Ben Kessler of SeatGeek.com said.
The bottom line is be prepared to pay top dollar for some of these marquee match-ups in 2011 if you don't already have tickets.
