2020 and 2021 have brought their fair share of changes to our world, but one thing that won't be different is our HuskerOnline In-State Tour where we feature the state's top up-and-coming talent.
2021 marks the 18th straight year of the HOL In-State Tour, which we held over two full days at different locations in Omaha and Lincoln.
We continue our In-state Tour today with Lincoln High, where the Links hope to rebound in 2021.

Season Rewind with OC Seth Sharpe: "I've been around Lincoln High since I could walk so it means a lot. I just love the student body there. I love our players. They have different backgrounds and just a bunch of good guys. Love playing with them every day. I love working with the staff. We're building a really strong staff and some guys that really have strong relationships with the players, know the ins and outs of high school football. Coach Macke has been around varsity football for a long time and high school football. He does an excellent job."
Lincoln High 2022 and 2023 prospect breakdown
Sharpe on QB Jareese Lott-Buzby: "Jareese has a real strong arm. He's been at it for a long time working really hard at it. His leadership qualities are second to none. He does a great job getting guys motivated to go in every day and practice. Great guy to have in the huddle."
Lott Buzby's take: "In 2019, we didn't do that good. Throughout the summer I tried to build confidence while working out, lifting weights, throwing during the summer and just try to build confidence to get my teammates up and get me up too, so we come into the season doing good.
"I like to think I'm a dual-threat quarterback. I like to run. I like to throw. I'm pretty well-rounded."
Stats: In six games, Lott-Buzby had 304 yards rushing and five touchdowns, to go along with 211 yards passing and one touchdown through the air.
Sharpe on ATH Adonis Hutchinson: "Adonis is just a great all-around athlete. Very versatile. He played cornerback. He played receiver. He played running back. He does a great job on the defensive side. He plays cornerback. He could go to safety if we needed him to. He's very versatile. As a quarterback, it seems to suit him really well. He's very crafty running the football. He's just a really, really good kid, one that sets a good example for his teammates with his work ethics both in the classroom and on the field."
Hutchinson's take: "I believe I can play anything the coach wants me to. Anywhere I can fit, then I'll play it. If I play quarterback, if the coach wants me at quarterback, I'll play quarterback. Receiver, I'll play receiver. I can play anything.
"Last year I was starting at corner for a while and after one of the corners, the starting one got COVID and he had to quarantine. I was starting corner for a while and I played a lot of running back, played some receiver and then when the starting quarterback got hurt, I came in and started a couple of games at quarterback.
"I think quarterback is my real strength because I came in no stress at all, just came in and did what I do and got some highlight plays. It was fun."
Stats: Hutchinson had 255 yards rushing, 136 yards passing and 42 yards receiving on offense last year playing quarterback, running back and wide receiver.
Sharpe on WR Beni Ngoyi: Both him and Keyshon are very similar. Beni, we always joke about his legs going to the middle of his back. He just strides as an athlete. At the cornerback position, he does a tremendous job. As a 6-foot-4 cornerback, that's huge. His technique and fundamentals are great as a cornerback. He'll get more and more involved as a receiver throughout his career here in these next two years."
Stats: Ngoyi had 15 tackles and two interceptions, to go along with one catch for 29 yards.
Sharpe on WR Keyshon Buckman: Keyshon is a freak athlete, a freak athlete. He's been contacted by some bigger programs like North Dakota State. The potential is there for him, getting things put together, having a really good offseason this year. Getting into his senior year, it'll be important looking to try our best to get the ball to him more. He can make plays."
Stats: Buckman had seven catches for 148 yards and one touchdown. Defensively he had two interceptions.
