Even though Booker T. Washington defensive end Guy Thomas has been committed to Nebraska since Aug. 8, his recruitment has been somewhat of a mystery.

The 6-foot-3, 205 pound Thomas committed to NU site unseen, and did not take his official visit to Lincoln until Jan. 13. He followed that up with official visits to both Louisville and Pittsburgh.

Going into signing day morning there was a lot of speculation that the four-star Thomas was not signing with the Huskers.

However, in a ceremony at his high school on Wednesday, Thomas officially announced he would be signing with Nebraska, securing a key pass rushing defensive end for this year's recruiting class.
