Huskers hit daily double with the commitment of Davis twins

Nebraska hit the daily double today as they scored a rare package deal when twin defensive tackle prospects Carlos Davis and Khalil Davis committed to the Huskers during an unofficial visit today.
The Blue Springs, Mo. natives had been on Nebraska's radar for a long time and it was widely speculated that they could commit during their time in Lincoln today. Khalil Davis confirmed those thoughts via Twitter moments ago.

The Davis Twins have made multiple trips to Nebraska this past year including a couple of games last fall. Their level of comfort coupled with the environment that they've witnessed on games days helped pave the way towards their commitment today.
"I went to a game in Lincoln earlier in the year. I got to see a game up there, it was the Wyoming game," Carlos Davis said. "It was breathtaking up there. It's a different experience at Nebraska with the way they do things and how they treat football up there."
While a lot of package commitments don't end up coming to fruition, this is one that Husker fans don't have to worry about as the Davis twins have been dead set on playing at the same school since day one.
"We're staying together for sure in college," Carlos Davis said to Rivals.com in an earlier interview. "We're going to the same school.
"Playing with (Khalil) is great because we've been doing it so long. I trust him and know he'll never take a play off. We're definitely going to stay together."
The addition of the Davis twins gives Nebraska a total of six commits for 2015 and the No. 10 ranked class in the nation. Of the six commits, four are currently ranked as four-star players and five hail from border states to Nebraska.
