Failed physical ends Martinezs time with Eagles

After agreeing to a three-year undrafted free agent deal with the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, former Nebraska quarterback Taylor Martinez has not passed a team physical, which voids his agreement.
According to Martinez's father Casey, the Eagles flew his son to Philadelphia and evaluated his medical file from Nebraska and performed x-rays of their own on his injured foot and he did not pass the physical.

"It's just another obstacle for Taylor that he will overcome as he has since high school," Casey Martinez said in a text message.
Casey Martinez followed by saying his son will "seriously consider" getting surgery and push at returning after a full recovery.
"We can't believe it," Casey Martinez said. "The Eagles treated him great the brief time he was there. It's crushing. It was a perfect fit for him."
