Crick out for the spring with MCL knee injury

Nebrsaka head coach Bo Pelini confirmed on Tuesday that senior defensive tackle Jared Crick will miss the rest of spring practice with an MCL knee injury.
The injury happened during Monday's practice and Crick should be fully recovered by the start of summer conditioning.

"Jared will be out for the rest of spring ball, but he will be back to full speed in a few weeks," Pelini said. "He will be fully ready for our off-season program, but there is no reason to rush him back onto the field this spring."
With Crick out, look for senior Terrence Moore and sophomore Thaddeus Randle to see increased reps, along with players like redshirt freshman Chase Rome.
Junior Baker Steinkuhler is the other starting defensive tackle that plays next to Crick.
The Husker are scheduled to take the field for spring practice No. 5 on Wednesday.
