The Nebraska football team secured a key defensive line commit on Tuesday night from Avon (Conn.) Old Farms defensive end Casey Rogers.

The 6-foot-5, 240 pound Rogers made his announcement public on Twitter Tuesday evening after visiting NU over the weekend.

Rogers becomes the first high school prospect to commit to the Huskers since the early Dec. 20 signing day.
