The Huskers have pulled off an in-state flip: Papillion La-Vista 2024 tight end Eric Ingwerson flipped his commitment from Pitt to Nebraska football on Wednesday.

Matt Rhule and the Huskers made a strong push with Ingwerson over the summer, but he wanted to stay committed to Pitt at that time. Rhule and his staff didn’t give up, though, as they continued to build the relationship and worked on Ingwerson quietly behind the scenes.
