That Joe Dailey would break David Humm’s single-game record for passing yards this season was considered nearly a lock given Nebraska’s new pass-oriented offense.

Despite Dailey’s struggles early on, it seemed clear that eventually the record would fall. Few would have expected it to fall during a game in which he threw just 20 passes, however.
You can read more about Dailey's record-setting performance in Nebraska's 59-27 victory over Baylor in this week's issue of Huskers Illustrated, which was mailed to subscribers on Monday and will be available at newsstands across Nebraska and various other locations. Fittingly, Dailey is pictured on the cover of the magazine.
Our feature story takes a look at Nebraska's "I-Back Committee," which includes juniors Cory Ross and David Horne, redshirt freshman Tierre Green and true freshman Brandon Jackson.
There is much, much more on the Huskers, including the "Spotlight" feature on Dailey, "10 Questions" with defensive tackle Titus Adams and a look at the next opponent, Kansas State. This week's installment of "Where Are They Now" takes a look at Charles Bryant, who was an All-Big Seven guard in 1954 and played on the 1955 Orange Bowl team.
