Since taking over Huskers Illustrated Magazine nearly one year ago, our staff (both at the magazine and online at Huskeronline.com) has been working tirelessly to find new ways to bring the most in-depth coverage to Husker fans across the world.

While Huskers Illustrated has been the authority on Husker football for over 29 years, we continue to strive to lead the way in providing new and creative ways to follow Nebraska athletics.
This past week, Huskers Illustrated took another step toward cementing our position as the leader in Nebraska football coverage.
In a historic partnership for Huskers Illustrated Magazine, we have teamed with ESPN 1620 The Zone in Omaha to begin airing the Huskers Illustrated Radio Show. The Zone is the state's top sports talk radio station and will help expand our reach to Husker fans around the world.
Our show debuted in September of last year as a free feature on Huskeronline. com and also has been available as a podcast through the iTunes Store. It should come as no surprise that your support for this show has been overwhelming.
For those of you that will be tuning in the first time, the Huskers Illustrated Radio Show is a one-hour sports talk show hosted by respected radio personality Chris Schmidt and co-hosted by our own Contributing Editor, Mike Babcock. The show features intelligent interviews with former Husker standouts, the nation's top recruits and some of the nation's leading recruiting experts, including our own John Talman.
In addition to listening to the show through our original formats, it can now be heard live in the Omaha and Lincoln areas Saturdays at 8 a.m. on 1620 AM. For those outside of the listening area, the show will also be streamed live at www.1620thezone. com.
In the last year, we've created our free E-mail newsletter, which gives us the potential to instantly reach thousands of Husker fans with breaking news. While we knew this could be a powerful tool, the popularity of this new feature has taken even us by surprise.
We have also given our magazine subscribers the ability to read the magazine online, before it hits their mailbox for free. Despite these great new innovations, we are excited about a number of other opportunities we hope to announce in the near future.
As always we welcome your feedback and thank all of our readers (print and online) for your support.
