Davis twins still considering Nebraska

A report by the Kansas City Star this morning had Nebraska football fans thinking they had suffered their first major defections from their 2015 recruiting class as Blue Springs, Mo. defensive tackles Carlos Davis and Khalil Davis were no longer considering Nebraska.
Kansas City Star sportswriter Sam McDowell had this to say via Twitter:

HuskerOnline.com contacted Blue Springs High School head coach Kelly Donohoe who refuted the report and said the Davis twins are still considering Nebraska and looking forward to hosting new head coach Mike Riley for an in-home visit tomorrow night.
"I can tell you that the [Kansas City Star] report is not true," Donohoe said. "I just spoke to them minutes ago and they are still considering Nebraska. Don't stress because they still want to go to Nebraska.
"I just know that Coach Mike Riley is coming to see them tomorrow and they're anxious to meet him and to learn who the defensive line coach is going to be. I'm hoping that Coach Riley will stop by school before he has his in-home visit with the twins tomorrow night."
Coach Donohoe was asked again to make sure that the KC Star report about the Davis twins no longer considering Nebraska was not true.
"That is incorrect," Donohoe said. "They are not counting Nebraska out."
