Get to the line
1

When you look at the statistical splits between Nebraska's game at home and on the road, no stat stands out more than the disparity at the free throw line. In stacking up a 14-1 record inside Pinnacle Bank Arena, the Huskers have shot 75.1 percent (157-of-209) from the charity stripe in Big Ten play. On the road, where NU is just 2-6 in conference, its is only shooting 64 percent (71-of-111). That means Nebraska has shot nearly 100 less free throws on the road than at home, and given its road offensive struggles this year, free throws are the clear top priority.
Shut down Yogi
2

Though Indiana's offense has picked up a little bit over the past couple of weeks, there's still no denying that the Hoosiers heartbeat with the ball in sophomore point guard Yogi Ferrell. Not only does he lead the team and rank among the Big Ten leaders with 17.7 points and 3.8 assists per game, he's also shooting 42 percent from 3-point range on the season. When Indiana has struggled this season, it's been when teams shut down Ferrell and make someone else take the shots, as the Hoosiers have surprisingly lacked a consistent No. 2 scorers all year long.
Set the tone
3

While potentially Nebraska could lose tonight and still keep its NCAA Tournament hopes intact, there's no question that a win would be absolutely huge in padding its resume to make the Big Dance. Road losses are generally not as devastating as losing at home, but a victory at one of the hottest teams in the Big Ten would sure go a long way in setting the Huskers up for an absolutely huge regular-season finale at home against No. 9 Wisconsin on Sunday. The Huskers have had their issues on the road, but this is definitely a winnable game.

Nebraska head coach Tim Miles on what has changed about Indiana during its recent turnaround:

"They have really good players, and they always have really good players. They're just scoring at such a tear, and then with the facility malfunction (at Assembly Hall) that they had, they got three straight home games. Now you get a little mojo, and I think that builds confidence in young teams especially."
Miles on finally facing an opponent that didn't have a full week off to prepare for the Huskers:

"It's going to be nice that they're not going to be just ready for every possible thing that you might do. I was proud of our guys to overcome that, even against Northwestern. There were some really smart things Chris Collins did that I thought our guys adjusted to more quickly than I expected at times. I really worried about the outcome of the game for a little bit in terms of if we don't handle this problem, but our guys adjusted real quick. It'll be nice to kind of go on even terms with a couple teams."

Nebraska 68-66
