McDonald's player breakdown

MORE: McD's AA chats | Muhammad is MVP

CHICAGO - Kyle Anderson didn't get the win, but he posted game-highs in two statistical categories while flirting with a triple-double.

Here is a look at the individual numbers in the West's 106-102 win over the East in the 2012 McDonald's All-American Game on Wednesday night.

Shabazz Muhammad: 21 points (game high), 10-of-18 FGs, 1-of-1 from three, 6 rebounds, 1 assist, 6 TOs (game high) in 22 minutes

Carrying MVP expectations into the game, Muhammad came through with a solid, if not spectacular, MVP performance. He knocked down jumpers and got loose in transition although he did get loose with the basketball, too, at times.

Alex Poythress: 19 points, 8-of-12 FGs, 1-of-3 from three, 2-of-2 FTs, 2 rebounds, 1 TO, 1 block, 1 steal in 19 minutes

Poythress showed his tremendous athleticism while keeping the East in the game. Along with his scoring Poythress played tough defense while guarding a variety of positions.

Archie Goodwin: 14 points, 7-of-13 FGs, 0-of-2 from three, 3 rebounds, 1 TO, 3 steals in 18 minutes

Utilizing his athleticism, Goodwin slashed to the basket for several impressive buckets. He was also active defensively.

Kyle Anderson: 13 points, 6-of-15 FGs, 1-of-4 from three, 0-of-2 FTs, 8 rebounds, 8 assists (tied game-high), 3 TOs, 1 block, 4 steals (game-high) in 24 minutes

Anderson wasn't as efficient as usual, but he still flirted with a triple-double. He played a key role in the East's second-half comeback.

Kevin Ferrell: 3 points, 1-of-8 FGs, 0-of-1 from three, 1-of-3 FTs, 1 rebound, 8 assists (tied game-high), 1 block, 1 steal in 22 minutes

Ferrell didn't have a good shooting night from the field, but he did a great job of penetrating the defense and then finding shooters.

Rodney Purvis: 15 points, 7-of-14 FGs, 1-of-2 from three, 0-of-1 FTs, 3 assists, 2 steals in 22 minutes

Along with Anderson, Purvis was key to the East's comeback. He had some explosive drives to the basket and finished with zero turnovers.

Rasheed Sulaimon: 18 points, 6-of-13 FGs, 4-of-8 from three, 2-of-4 FTs, 1 rebound, 4 assists, 1 TO, 2 steals in 20 minutes

Sulaimon did what he does best- shoot the ball well from outside and play tough defense. He also dished out four assists to just one turnover.

Marcus Paige: 4 points, 2-of-7 FGs, 0-of-1 from three, 3 rebounds, 7 assists, 1 TO, 1 block, 1 steal in 20 minutes

Paige set the tone for the West early on by taking care of the basketball and distributing it.

Isaiah Austin: 10 points, 5-of-10 FGs, 0-of-1 from three, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 TO, 3 blocks (game-high), 1 steal in 17 minutes

It was a quiet performance for Austin, but he put up a quality stat line.

Tony Parker 10 points, 4-of-7 FGs, 2-of-2 from the line, 7 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 TOs, 2 blocks in 15 minutes

Parker had a few impressive scoring plays and rebounds while playing with strength around the basket.

Cameron Ridley: 12 points, 5-of-10 FGs, 2-of-4 FTs, 9 rebounds, 2 TOs, 2 blocks in 17 minutes

Playing hard throughout the night, Ridley just missed on a double-double.

DaJuan Coleman: 7 points, 2-of-10 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs, 12 rebounds (game-high), 1 assist, 1 block, 1 steal in 20 minutes

The biggest player on the court, Coleman used his size to pull down a game-high 12 rebounds. He also had some impressive long outlet passes.

T.J. Warren: 10 points, 5-of-11 FGs, 0-of-1 from three, 5 rebounds, 2 assists in 16 minutes

A natural scorer, Warren had some tough misses early but turned it on in the second half.

Grant Jerrett: 8 points, 4-of-5 FGs, 0-of-2 FTs, 2 rebounds in 16 minutes

Jerrett took advantage of his limited touches, only missing one shot. He had perhaps the best scoring post move of the night.

Marcus Smart: 1 point, 0-of-4 FGs, 0-of-2 from three, 1-of-4 FTs, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 turnovers, 1 block in 20 minutes

Smart didn't find the range with his jumper, but he did have some terrific assist passes.

Tyler Lewis: 2 points, 1-of-7 FGs, 0-of-3 from three, 3 assists, 1 steal in 12 minutes

Like Harris, Lewis' jumper was off, but he did have three assists without a turnover.

Anthony Bennett: 9 points, 3-of-7 FGs, 1-of-3 from three, 2-of-2 FTs, 6 rebounds in 13 minutes

As he is known to do, Bennett had some impressive plays in the transition game.

Brandon Ashley: 6 points, 3-of-9 FGs, 0-of-1 from three, 10 rebounds in 13 minutes

Ashley didn't put up a lot of points, but he almost snagged a rebound for every minute he was on the court.

Perry Ellis: 4 points, 2-of-8 FGs, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 TOs in 13 minutes

Ellis had limited minutes but was productive during his second-half stretches.

Gary Harris: 2 points, 0-of-3 FGs, 0-of-2 from three, 2-of-2 FTs, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 TO, 2 blocks, 1 steal in 15 minutes

Harris' jumper was off, but he found other ways to contribute for the East.

Shaquille Goodwin: 8 points, 4-of-7 FGs, 0-of-2 from three, 4 rebounds, 1 assist in 13 minutes.

Goodwin brought some energy and productive play off the bench.

Amile Jefferson: 8 points, 4-of-10 FGs, 0-of-1 from three, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 turnovers, 2 steals in 14 minutes

Jefferson was aggressive off the dribble and had some nice plays driving to the basket.

Kris Dunn: 4 points, 2-5 FGs, 0-1 from three, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 4 turnovers, 1 steal in 17 minutes

Dunn wasn't as efficient as he would like to be, but he had some plays that demonstrated his high ceiling as a point guard.
