Speed up the ball
1

One of head coach Doc Sadler's biggest complaints about his team's play through the first three games of the season has been the slow pace of ball movement in the half-court offense. Too often the Huskers have been a few seconds late on their passes, missing out prime scoring opportunities. Against a team as defensively disciplined as Oregon head coach Dana Altman's squad, Nebraska needs to be as efficient as ever to capitalize on designed scoring plays.
Keep on shooting

A big reasons for Nebraska's early success this season has been its ability to get solid offensive production out of a number of different players. Led by senior point guard Bo Spencer, who became the first Husker in a long time to put up consecutive 20-point games, NU's offense has been on a different level this year. Along with Spencer, one of the more pleasant surprises has been senior guard Caleb Walker, who set a career-high with 17 points against Rhode Island two games after scoring a then-career best 16 against South Dakota.
Move on inside
3

There was a lingering fear that senior center Andre Almeida's surgically repaired knee may not be fully healthy enough in time to play this season, and that fear became official on Monday. With Almeida officially set to redshirt this year, the Huskers will be without their most intimidating presence in the post. This means guys like Jorge Brian Diaz and Brandon Ubel will be counted on to carry the bulk of the load inside the rest of the year. For Nebraska to have any success in Big Ten Conference play, its frontcourt is going to have to step it up on both ends of the court.

Head coach Doc Sadler on whether this is his deepest team in terms of offensive weapons:

"It's the best after three games. If Caleb Walker goes 7-of-8, we feel good about our chances. Bo (Spencer) can get them an easier shot than we've probably been able to accomplish in the past. If the shooter knows a good pass is coming, he will feel good about his shot."
Junior guard Caleb Walker on how Spencer has changed the Huskers' offense:

"I think that's the great thing about this team. Bo's a leader and with the ball in his hands he does a lot of great things. He's going to penetrate, so you have to be ready to shoot when he penetrates and kicks, and you have to run the floor with him because he pushes it."

Nebraska 67-63
