Own the glass

Eastern Washington doesn't have a player on its roster taller than 6-9, and has three starters 5-11 or shorter. Needless to say, Nebraska will have quite the advantage in the rebounding department tonight. The Huskers had two players haul in 10 or more rebounds last week against TCU, and those numbers shouldn't be much different against a physically under-matched Eagles squad.
Pick up the slack

There's a good chance Nebraska will be without two players tonight who many thought would be key factors heading into the season. Obviously Christian Standhardinger officially left the team Friday night, but the Huskers could also be without the services of junior guard Caleb Walker, who rolled his ankle earlier in the week and has been unable to practice since Tuesday. That means others are going to have to step up to fill the void.
Keep it going

It seems as if Nebraska just keeps playing better and better since it's 1-2 run through the Puerto Rico Tip-Off last month. The Huskers have now won six straight games against some decent competition, and they're building up some good momentum heading into the start of Big 12 Conference play. Tonight, NU just needs to keep improving in all phases.

Head coach Doc Sadler on his team's resiliency:

"I think a lot of things have happened to this team in the first 10 games that are going to help this team. (The TCU win) is another one. We were up nine at halftime and I think we should've been up 15 to 20, but we were only up nine. Then we come out in the second half and we are down three. The thing that this team has to understand is that in those five minute periods, we need to win three out of four if we want to be successful."
Senior guard Lance Jeter on the difference Toney McCray has made:

"Toney's a three guard playing the forward, so he's going to be quicker than the power forward, and he's got the advantage that he can shoot and he's quick enough that he can go by them. That was definitely a big key for us (against TCU), and he showed his shooting abilities and we definitely needed that. He stepped up for us big for us.

Nebraska 80-62
