Jersey TE/DE sets MSU visit
Michigan State is in the lead pack to land three-star tight end/defensive end prospect Sherard Cadogan of Cherry Hill (NJ) Camden Catholic.
The Spartans were named as part of Cadogan's top three back in August and they have continued to hang on in mid-September as a member of his top - and seems be final - five.
"Right now I'm down to five schools. I have Wisconsin, Pitt, South Carolina, West Virginia and Michigan State. So right now I'm just going on official visits," the 6-3, 227-pound Cadogan told SpartanMag.com Wednesday night.
"This weekend I'm going to Pitt for an official visit. Next weekend I'm going to Wisconsin. I'm going to Michigan State when they face Iowa (Oct. 24). South Carolina I think Oct. 10 and West Virginia I forgot the date."
Cadogan's official visit schedule allows him to see the Spartans in action twice, the first time being when MSU plays at Wisconsin, where Cadogan's teammate, three-star quarterback Joseph Brennan, verbally committed in July.
"I want to check out all the schools because I haven't been to Michigan State or Wisconsin or South Carolina yet. So I can't wait to get out there. It's going to be exciting," Cadogan said.
