Mike Harris getting the job done
Anyone who saw Bruin offensive lineman Mike Harris this summer knew he was putting in the work. He knew that the Bruins signed a talented group of offensive linemen and that those young players were coming in with the thought of playing. Undaunted, Harris kept his poise and worked hard. He is slated to start at right tackle tomorrow when the Bruins open the season against the Aztecs of San Diego State.
Harris talked to BruinBlitz.com about his offseason, training camp and San Diego State after a recent practice.
BruinBlitz.com: Mike it is obvious you put in the work this offseason with a new found dedication. You were out with an injury for spring ball, but still working with your upper body weren't you?
Harris: "Yeah, I was. I had broken my foot and I couldn't really move around much or run, but I made sure that went into the weight room. Once my foot healed, I started to work on my footwork a lot. Hopefully it's going to pay off this season."
