Scherff makes the call
Growing up in Western Iowa, Brandon Scherff did not necessarily follow the Hawkeyes as much as other schools when he was younger. But when it came to his recruiting, the Denison native found Iowa standing out more and more ever since they were the first program to offer a scholarship back in January. Scherff is currently the ninth verbal commitment for Iowa in the Class of 2010.
