Ponder looks to take next step
Coming into spring practice, Florida State quarterback Christian Ponder admitted he had some things to work on.
The Seminoles' air attack in 2008 checked in at 82nd in the nation, averaging 192.8 yards per game, good enough for eighth place in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
While the rising junior was effective in his first year as the starting quarterback, there still were some technical issues that Ponder and quarterbacks coach Jimbo Fisher wanted to see ironed out in order to progress in the passing game.
