Griffin Expects More Offers to Come

For years and years Clinton, Okla. has been a place that teams hoping to win a state title knew they would have to go through on their way. For just as long the Red Tornadoes have failed to receive their due as a talent producer but one player that is turning the Western Oklahoma town into more than just a stop for envious high school programs is running back Delans Griffin.

The 5-foot-9, 175-pound back says that any number of schools have been by to shake hands and give him the obligatory 'hello'.

With offers already from Texas Tech and Oregon Griffin hasn't become a national name just yet but says more offers could be coming soon.

"I'm getting letters from everywhere. I've got to call Missouri and Tulsa and I may get an offer from those two tomorrow," Griffin said. "I've also talked to Oklahoma and Oklahoma State, they both said they are really looking at me. I think it probably won't be too long before they offer."

In the near future Griffin has some plans to help get his name out even further by attending the Nike combine in Dallas on April 4.
