Prater planning spring visit to Purdue

Year in and year out, Purdue is able to attract interest from the nation's top high school wide receivers because of their wide open offense which has produced some of the Big Ten's most dominant passing teams of the last decade. Hillside (Ill.) Proviso West wide receiver Kyle Prater is one of 2010's top wide receivers nationally, and he talked about his interest in Purdue earlier this week.

After a performance at the U.S. Army All-American Junior Combine that earned him Most Outstanding Player honors from Rivals.com, Prater saw his stock totals soar, but Purdue was one of those teams that had their offer on the table even before Prater showed out in San Antonio.
