Noles target air game for improvement


By any standard, Florida State's offense made strides in 2008.



For the first time in several years, the Seminoles established a dependable ground game -- they finished second in the Atlantic Coast Conference with 179.1 rushing yards per game.



The Seminoles also had the ACC's top scoring offense by far, with 33.4 points per game. The next closest team was North Carolina at 27.7.



But if there was one major area of concern, it had to be the Seminoles' lackluster passing attack. Florida State passed for only 192.8 yards per game this season, which was FSU's worst performance through the air since 1984.
