Rookie Report Card - Final Grades

Rundown of the 2008 recruiting class rookies:

A.J. Alexander - Showed a lot of explosiveness in practices but took a redshirt. With a lack of depth at cornerback in 2009, should be able to work into the rotation. Could compete for a job on kickoff returns in 2009. Grade: N/A

Nigel Bradham - Former five-star prospect played in all 12 of FSU's games (started 1) and was a key backup at Will (weak-side) linebacker. He improved steadily as the season progressed and finished with 27 tackles. Should be on pace to earn a starting job in 2009. Grade: B+

Nigel Carr - Carr arrived at FSU as a highly touted linebacker but with good depth at the position saw only limited playing time. He did play in 10 games primarily on special teams, and recorded 3 total tackles. With three senior linebackers on the roster, there should be an opportunity for Carr to get into a rotation and become a key reserve in 2009. Grade: C
