Nixon makes Army history

As though it isn't enough already that he is one of the top rated and most coveted players in the nation, Fayetteville (N.C.) Jack Britt offensive tackle Xavier Nixon now has another, maybe more meaningful, distinction to hang his hat on. According to records, though there have been players involved in the game before that had one parent serving in the military, the 6-foot-6, 270-pound Rivals100 member is the first player to have both of his parents actively serving in the U.S. military at the time of his induction to the game.
