Wednesday practice report

The Crimson Tide practiced Wednesday in full pads at Thomas-Drew Practice Field for it's second practice of the bye week. Here are a few notes from the media observation period from BamaOnLine.com.

***Barrett Jones and Tyler Love continued to work in black jerseys on Wednesday. Jones (shoulder) and Love (stress fracture) did participate in drill work. Both have been battling their injuries for weeks and will most likely be able to apply for medical redshirt.

***Roy Upchurch continued to work in white at full speed on Wednesday. Upchurch was in a black jersey the entire week of preparation for Mississippi State after suffering a neck spasm during warm-ups for the LSU game.

***Earl Alexander worked in white continued to work in white on Wednesday. Alexander has struggled with injuries throughout the season and has spent many practices in black.

***Again no one wore scout team jerseys on Wednesday. Next week BOL will report the members of the scout team.
