Goes to Jock Sanders. Sanders has become a weapon as the season has worn on to follow head coach Bill Stewart's dictum that "We need to get the ball into the hands of someone besides No. 5 (Pat White) and No. 7."

Sanders rushed seven times for 45 yards and two touchdowns Saturday. His long was for 14 yards and he averaged 6.4 yards per carry. Connecticut's Donald Brown, the leading ball carrier in the nation, scavenged for 82 yards and averaged 4.3 on the ground.
