Preview: The Guards

The defending national champion Kansas Jayhawks return for another chance at college basketball's ultimate prize, only this time, it'll be with an entirely new look. Bill Self lost a total of eight players from his 2007-08 team that went 37-3 and defeated Memphis in dramatic fashion for the title. Now, he faces his toughest coaching job yet. With seven newcomers, which ranked KU's 2008 class second nationally, Self and his staff have a batch of fresh faces that are ready to make their own mark on the nation's most historical basketball program.
