Quick hits - Thursday's Practice

Today's practice was a spirited affair and the energy was again high. The offense, though still far away, had a few moments today that made one think they will be okay. The questions that face this team are the same and they are quarterback play and the offensive line.

Sophomore guard Darius Savage is a budding star. He picked up two blitzes from Reggie Carter and on the last one was about to bury him, but the whistle blew.

Savage has the goods, he only needs reps and experience.

Watching linebacker coach Chuck Bullough was a treat. He had his linebackers on fire. It's no wonder why he gets such good results from his players.
