Reid ended up in Athens for Dawg Night

A couple of different schools in the South thought Jamal Reid would be at their camp, but he ended up in Athens at the University of Georgia. The versatile athlete worked out at receiver at Dawg Night and the UGA coaches recognized his talent.

"I think Georgia likes me a lot after the camp," said Reid. "I caught the ball well, I did well in all of the drills, and I think I did pretty good overall. I know Georgia was watching me, so I think they are going to recruit me even more now."

The Mayo (Fla.) LaFayette athlete received some encouraging news from the Bulldogs Head Coach as well.

"Coach [Mark] Richt talked to me for about 20 minutes during the camp and he said that he and Georgia are very interested in me. He told me that he liked me on film and that they would be in touch."

Reid hopes that the Dawgs stay in contact with him because he has high interest in the Georgia program after Dawg Night.
