Hoop Dawgs set sights on emerging PF

This spring, most of the players that the Georgia Bulldogs were recruiting were already on the map. That's because most of the talent resided right in their own backyard, due to the high level of talent in-state. But some players emerge during the beginning of summer ball that grabs the attention of teams from all over the country, and Thomas Robinson did just that.

His hustle in the post on both ends of the court has thrust him into a high major caliber player. UGASports.com recently caught up with Robinson to see how his recruitment and summer were going.
His recent offers were not handed to him easily, he had to go out and get them.

And that is the way he prefers it.

"I knew I had to earn them, and I was hungry for it," Robinson said. "There is not a lot of difference nowadays in talent at this level, so it is real competitive to stand out. We're all auditioning for a chance at a dream, and I am giving it my best out there."

With players getting exposure early in their careers, sometimes late blooming talent may fall through the cracks. Luckily for the three-star forward, was not one of them.

"Some players get a lot of hype early, and it all gets handed to them. I like it when we play a team with one of those guys, as I get a chance to bring them back down to earth. I like that I have earned the chance now, but....
