Bilas, Fraschilla impressed with Lucas at Lebron Camp

AKRON - SpartanMag.com caught up with ESPN college basketball analysts Fran Fraschilla and Jay Bilas to get their opinion on the play of Michigan State sophomore-to-beKalin Lucas who has played as well as any collge point guard at the Lebron James Skills Academy during the last three days.

Fraschilla, who had head coaching gigs at Manhattan, St. John's, and New Mexico before moving behind the analyst's desk at ESPN, believes that Lucas will emerge as one of the nation's Top 10 point guards this fall.

The former college head coach sees a bright future ahead for the Spartan star if he continues to maintain his strong work ethic and heed the teaching of Spartan head coach Tom Izzo.

Like Fraschilla, Bilas is impressed with Lucas whom the former Duke standout believes will thrive as one of the nation's top young guards if he is able to utilize his improving outside stroke to complement the speed elements in his game.

Bilas characterized Lucas as one of the quickest players in Akron and possibly even they quickest player at Lebron Camp.
