The Tampa (Fla.) area is full of talent and one of the top recruits there is Armwood safety Angelo Hadley. Hadley is well into double digits when talking offers and one of them is from the University of Georgia.
"Georgia is one school that has offered me and they offered me back in April," said Hadley. "I talked to Coach [Tony] Ball and he offered me a full scholarship on the phone."
"Georgia came down to watch me during the spring too and I think I did good in front of them. Coach Ball was the coach that came down to watch me. I talked to him on the phone after practice and he told me he would love to see me in red and black."
Georgia is just one of many to offer the 6-foot-0, 187-pound safety. He has a number of offers as we enter the summer of 2008.
"I have at least 15 offers now," he stated. "Auburn, Illinois, Tennessee, Michigan, and North Carolina are some schools that have offered me lately."
"I may have close to 20 offers, but I know it is at least 15. I think LSU and Ohio State may offer me soon too."
He is not ready to name an official leader of top five, but some schools appear to be pretty high on his list right now.
"I am still pretty open, but I have some schools in mind that I really like. I like North Carolina, Georgia, South Florida, Alabama, and Auburn a lot. I also like Ohio State and they would be up there if they offer me."
Most of the top talent in the Sunshine State stays home, but that may not be the case for Hadley.
