ISU among eight offers for Goodlow
Dallas (Tex.) W.H. Adamson's Roderick Goodlow will switch to the linebacker position this fall for his school, better preparing him for the position he is expected to play in college. The 6-foot-2, 202-pound Goodlow played at safety this past fall, but is building a strong list of scholarship offers for the outside linebacker position.
"I am up to eight offers," Goodlow reported. "Nebraska, Arizona and Arkansas are the latest."
Immediately preceding his three most recent offers Goodlow had received tenders from Colorado, Kansas, Northwestern and Iowa State. The offer from the Cyclones was the fifth one to come in.
"It was a couple of weeks ago," said Goodlow of the Iowa State offer. "They came by the school and then I talked on the phone to Coach (Gene) Chizik. I called him and he was a really down to earth person. He cares for his players and wants the best for them. I know he is doing what he can do with the new program."
