South Florida QB receives call from AU
Miramar (Fla.) four-star Eugene Smith, one of the top quarterback prospects in the country, spoke with three Auburn coaches last week, the first college coaches were allowed to contact recruits.
Head coach Tommy Tuberville, offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Tony Franklin and lead recruiter Eddie Gran all spoke to the 6-foot-3, 175-pounder.
"I got a chance to talk to all of them," said Smith, a member of the Rivals250. "It was a great experience talking to coach Tuberville. He told me a lot of things about the program that was interesting."
