Rivals100 cornerback enjoys Sooner scrimmage
Few players in the country have seen their stock soar any higher in the past few months than Jenks, Okla. cornerback Gabe Lynn. The 6-foot, 180-pound defensive back has picked up offers from the likes of Oklahoma, Miami, Kansas, Missouri, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas Tech among others. He also has vaulted into the nation's No. 35 spot in the latest Rivals100 with potential to go even higher.
He has stayed open with his recruiting but on Saturday took in Norman for the first spring practice he's seen so far this year.
"It went good, when I got there we met with Bob Stoops in his office, and he was just talking about how thin they were at corner with Reggie Smith and D.J. Wolfe gone and they've got some injuries now. They are thin at the cornerback spot and he was just talking about how on defense they have a good fit cause they have a good defensive line, and they need good defensive backs to go with it," Lynn recalled.
