Nunes picks up offer No. 8

Four-star quarterback Josh Nunes (6-4, 205, 4.8) from Upland, Calif., continues on a tear as hot on the heels of an offer from Cal, the Sun Devils of Arizona State offered him a scholie 24 hours later.

"The past 48 hours have been the best time in my life," Nunes said. "I would have never thought to have two offers from two Pac-10 Universities in a 48 hour time span.

"I am greatly honored and astonished at the moment," Nunes said. "I have put in a lot of hard work in the past three years into football here at Upland, and it is paying off for me right now.

ASU joins Cal, Utah, San Diego State, Colorado, Arizona, Stanford and Hawai'i, as teams that have already offered Nunes a scholie.
