KU faces tough challenge down South

No. 4 Kansas (23-1; 8-1) travels to Austin to face-off against No. 12 Texas (19-4; 6-2) later tonight. If Big Monday's showdown is played out like last years two meetings between the Jayhawks and Longhorns, fans from both schools better buckle in and enjoy the ride. In both match-ups last season, KU trailed UT by double-digits, but won in dramatic fashion, including in the finals of the Big 12 Tournament Championship.

Last years meetings between Kansas and Texas turned out to be instant classics. When the Jayhawks and Longhorns first met in Lawrence on March Kevin Durant torched Bill Self's squad for 25 first half points. At the time, he appeared to be unstoppable.
