Video: Ros can block and catch at TE
It looked this time a week ago that Georgia was set to sign two tight ends in the class of 2008. One commitment decided to sign with Clemson, but Bryce Ros has been solid with Georgia since he committed last spring and you can see the future UGA tight end in action right here.
Ros is a 6-foot-4, 230-pound athlete out of Kennesaw (Ga.) - Kennesaw Mountain and he played both tight end and defensive end for Coach Jones and the Mustangs.
Georgia originally offered Ros as an athlete just days after they evaluated him at the Athens NIKE Camp. He showed their good athleticism, good competitive spirit, nice hands and the Dawgs liked what they saw.
Not only did UGA like what they, saw, but so did around 20 other schools as the likes of Auburn, Alabama, Virginia Tech and other programs offer the Peach State prospect. On Mother's Day 2007, he chose the Dawgs and he is now set to line up at tight end in Athens.
We were out to see Ros in action last fall and he was used primarily as a blocker in the run oriented offense, but he did show he could get down field and make a play against South Cobb.
