Frogs land La. corner

Number 14 is locked up. The TCU Horned Frogs landed Bastrop, LA defensive back Edward Patterson last weekend while he was in Fort Worth on a visit and PurpleMenace.Com caught up with him tonight to get the his thoughts on his decision.

So when did he know that TCU was right for him?

"Well, I committed last weekend on the 25th or the 26th and I knew I liked them right away. I like how they run their defensive schemes and how they blitz from the secondary. They are a top 5 rated defense and are usually in the Top 25 so I liked that a lot".

With offers on the table from Louisiana Tech and Southern Miss, TCU recently joined the mix with an offer and Patterson quickly took notice. With Coach Anderson on the recruiting trail, you know your in good hands.

"I like TCU because they graduate their players, they have a good graduation rate and they are a Top 25 team".

Now that the Frogs have solidified recruit number 14, they will continue to put the finishing touches on the 2008 class. Patterson had one more thing that he wanted to add for the Horned Frog faithful.

"I'm ready to sign with TCU and I'm ready to get up there".
