Bruin commit to trip Cal

Four-star running back/defensive back Johnathan Franklin ((5-10, 181, 4.4) from Los Angeles (Calif.) Dorsey was one of the many that attended UCLA's soiree last Saturday and came away very impressed with new head coach Rick Neuheisel, but that didn't stop another Pac 10 school from trying to throw their hat into the ring.

Cal has offered the talented two-way standout a visit and he will be heading to the Bay Area this weekend.

"Whenever you get an opportunity to take a visit to any college, you take it," Franklin said. "It is a blessing.

"There are a lot of high school players who aren't given an opportunity to visit colleges," Franklin said. "I just thank God and am I humbled.
