Virbitsky considers Duke

Duke's recruiting efforts have been hindered over the last several weeks thanks to the vacant head coaching job left by the fired Ted Roof. Despite the challenges, the remaining coaching staff has hit the road and continued to offer up their best sales pitch.

Because no more scholarship offers can be handed out until a new coach is named, the assistant coaches have placed their focus on current committed players and guys that have already received an offer. One prospect that fits the latter description is Jermyn (Pa.) Lakeland High tight end Justin Virbitsky.

Though the two-star prospect has listed Duke as a potential destination since the day they offered him a scholarship, he plans to hold out until the Blue Devils announce Roof's replacement.
