Owens is still happy with his decision

Georgia went into Alabama to find two of their offensive line commitments and one of them is Jonathan Owens. Owens committed to UGA six months ago and he visited his future home over the weekend.

"I got there on Friday and the GALA was the biggest event I have ever seen," said Owens. "There were 1,600 people there and it was crazy. Some of the fans knew me and recognized me, so that was cool too. It was a real nice event and I had fun."

After the GALA, the real visit began and Owens met up with his host.

"My host was offensive guard Chris Davis and we got along good. He kind of told me about how it was there as an offensive lineman and that I better lose some weight."

"I measured in at 6-foot-4, 323-pounds at Georgia and Coach Searels wants me around 290-300-pounds. Chris told me that we have to be in great shape and he really told me about everything. He talked to me about classes, what it is like during the week, football and everything. It was nice for him to share that."
