FSU's five-stars excited about the future
The cornerstones of Florida State's 2008 recruiting class are a pair of five star recruits - quarterback E.J. Manuel and linebacker Nigel Bradham. While the two FSU commitments were busy completing their senior season, they were also paying close attention to the Seminoles' recently completed regular season. Despite some disappointments on the field, FSU's quarterback of the future isn't the least bit discouraged.
"My take is that implementing a new offense and a new style offensively is tough that first season for any school," Manuel said. "It is going to be a little rough. That should be expected. You never want to see that happen to Florida State because traditionally they are a good team but it is a matter of growing pains."
The nation's top ranked linebacker shared Manuel's opinion of the current Seminole team.
"I feel like they are almost there," Bradham said. "There are some games that we lost that we shouldn't have lost. You can tell it is a rebuilding process. Every team goes through it."
