KU will be tested against USC

Rodrick Stewart is headed back to the place where his college career first got started. Along with No. 4 ranked Kansas (6-0; 0-0), Stewart, the 6-foot-4, 205-pound guard from Seattle, Wash., boarded a plane on Friday in preparation for today's showdown against Southern California (6-1; 0-0). The Jayhawks defeated the Trojans, 72-62, in Lawrence last year.

Stewart, who originally transferred to Kansas from Southern California, is playing the basketball of his career at this time. After being a non-factor for much of his time in Lawrence, the former five-star prospect has earned a spot in the starting lineup. With Sherron Collins out of action due to a stress fracture, Stewart has made the most of this rare opportunity.
