Junior DL liked what he saw in Athens

Georgia had a number of talented recruits in Athens the last couple of weeks and more of them are juniors than seniors. One of the 2009 prospects that got some attention from the UGA coaches is in-state defensive tackle John Drew.

"I talked with Coach [Rodney] Garner and Coach [David] Johnson before the Auburn game," said Drew. "They just talked to me about the team, they asked how my ride up from Columbus was and what I thought of the atmosphere."

What did he think of the atmosphere in Athens?

"The crowd was real loud and that blackout was cool. Everyone was wearing black and it looked great. It showed someone has a lot of power to get that many people to wear the same color."

"I thought it was a very exciting atmosphere and the crowd was great. It was an atmosphere that would have been fun to play in."
