Will Pick graduate in December?

Kale Pick finds himself faced with an extremely difficult decision. The three-star dual-threat quarterback from Dodge City (KS) High School has the opportunity to graduate in December and arrive in Lawrence much sooner than expected or he can graduate with his senior class. Pick spoke to Jayhawk Slant about his impending decision and about his time in Lawrence this past weekend.

Pick emerged as one of the top prospects in the state after a solid junior season. He completed 105-of-190 passes for 1,779 yards and tossed 19 touchdowns to just six interceptions.

Additionally, Pick, the No. 11 ranked dual-threat quarterback in the class, rushed for 38 yards and scored three more touchdowns. However, an injury to his thumb during the first game of the year kept the three-star prospect out of action for all but one game.

In the last game of the season against Goddard, Pick completed 19-of-29 passes for 268 yards and tossed two touchdowns. He was also credited with 72 rushing yards.
