Trio of Eastern schools pursuing Lippert

Rivals100 to Watch defensive end Jack Lippert first turned heads as a sophomore, recording more than 50 tackles and eight sacks in 2006 for Harrisburg (Pa.) Central Dauphin.

Lippert, who plays tight end and defensive end for the Rams, will be making his second trip to Beaver Stadium this season.

Although he contended that it was too early to pick a leader, those three schools are getting the most looks from the 6-foot-4, 225-pound prospect.

"I'm really looking at Penn State, Pitt and Boston College pretty closely here," said Lippert. "I'm looking for, obviously, a scholarship. I want to play and I want to win. I'm looking at a decent locality."
