Running backs top Hot 11

Andre Callender - The rhetorical question "What would BC be without Matt Ryan?" has been asked numerous times this season. Conventional wisdom says, "Not much." But game after game Andre Callender is out to prove otherwise. With 16 rushes for 70 yards and 10 receptions for 91 yards and a total of 3 touchdowns against Notre Dame, the argument can be made that Ryan is not the only reason why the Eagle's offense is flying high this season.

L.V. Whitworth - The Eagles sported a new look last Saturday with L.V. Whitworth lined up in the fullback position in front of Callender several times. He looked the best with the ball he has all season long and busted through a hole for 52 yards on the Eagle's first drive which set up BC's first touchdown of the game.

Matt Ryan - Despite not having that play that makes it onto SportsCenter's Top 10 the next morning, Ryan delivered once more in a hostile environment after a week full of hype and pressure. It was the "little things" that really stood out this week; being tough (staying in the pocket that extra split second to get off a better pass even though he knew he was going to get crushed) and smart (not being afraid to throw the ball away when necessary).
